Abstract
A computer program is described which obtains, by use of interval arithmetic, rigorous error bounds for approximate solutions of finite systems of nonlinear equations. The error bounds obtained include the contributions of truncation error for Newton's method, round-off error, and possible errors in the coefficients of the given system of equations.
