Status of compatibility with the accessibility requirements
The accessibility requirements result from §§ 3 paragraphs 1 to 4 and 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of § 12d BGG (Germany).
The website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following exceptions. The content listed below is not accessible:
- Images and graphic functions do not always have clear alternative texts.
- There is not a media alternative for all silent videos and audio files.
- Not all videos have comprehensible subtitles.
- Not all videos have an audio description or a full text alternative.
- There are visually recognisable headings that are not labelled as headings.
- The programmatically determined heading hierarchy sometimes deviates from the content structure of the page.
- In some cases, no headings have been labelled in data tables.
- Not all form fields have a label that can be determined programmatically.
- In the mobile view, not all information in the navigation is accessible in a meaningful order with a screen reader.
- The contrast requirements are not consistently met.
- With a view of 320 CSS pixels, not all content of the read-aloud software (ReadSpeaker) is accessible.
- Not all content and functions can be accessed using the keyboard.
- The focus sequence is not consistently understandable.
- The keyboard focus is not always clearly visible.
- The accessible name does not correspond to the visible name for all operating elements.Not all words in other languages are labelled in HTML.

- The name, role or status for assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers) cannot be determined for all control elements.
- With user-defined settings, some control elements no longer have sufficient contrast.
Justification
The authors of autodiff.org are constantly working on improving the website and, due to the abundance of material on the portal, have not yet been able to make all content and services digitally accessible. We are endeavouring to remove all hurdles for people with disabilities in a timely manner.
