How to get there

By Air

Frankfurt Airport is approximately 120km away from Kaiserslautern and can be reached conveniently by train using ICE/IC connections over Mannheim Hbf. The cheapest (19 Euro) and fastest (1h15m) option is the Lufthansa Airport Bus if it fits with your arrival time. Just search for a "flight" between KLT and FRA on Lufthansa.com. Note that it is available to every passenger regardless of their destination and airline. The airports Saarbrücken-Ensheim and Frankfurt-Hahn can also be reached by car in 90m, however, possibilities to reach them by public transportation are limited.

By Train

TGV, ICE, IC and Regional Trains arrive frequently at Kaiserslautern Hbf. There are direct connections from/to Mannheim Hbf and Paris. Consult the website of the Deutsche Bahn for timetables and journey details.

By Car

Kaiserslautern is connected by Autobahn A6 which connects to Autobahn A63 and A62.

Campus

From the railway station Kaiserslautern Hbf the city buses 105, 106, 115, 116 connect to the Campus of the TU Kaiserslautern. The bus-stops at the campus all begin with "Uni ..." and are all within 2 min walking distance to the venue. Journey details, timetables and a bus connection plan are available here.

Walking from the city centre to the campus takes about 30 Minutes and from the main station 20 min.

Every participant will pay for one's lodging separately. Lodging is not included in the fee.
